Back in Business
Wow... it's been a long time since my last blog. Surprisingly enough though, not a whole lot has happened! But I guess I'll just update you on my activities this past year.
My summer was spent at the restaurant, at the lake, and dancing. Folkfest, of course, was the highlight of the summer. Actually, we performed (Greek dances) at a couple other places this past summer as well such as "Taste of Saskatchewan", "Centennial Day", "Garlic Festival", and yeah. I'm sure there were some other places, but that was a long time ago so it doesn't really even matter. We got bumped out of performing at the Greek Oneiro in Saskatoon (whatever!), but we still had some fun at the Greek Night in Swift Current. Anyways... enough about that.
I also started University this year (woohoo!!)... HAHA - NOT! I took Arts & Science cause I wanted to do something with Foreign Affairs/UN, but now I have decided to switch into Commerce, which just turned out to be a big pain, but we'll see how it goes.
Hmm... lets see what else is new... Oh yeah, My brother came home on December 5th, 2005, for those of you who don't read his much more up-to-date blog.
Then there was Christmas, New Years, and all those other little events throughout the year.
Over February break my parents, Mariah, and I went to Mexico. We were on the Pacific side where there are mountains and whatever else. It reminded us all of Greece; though the ocean was definitely nothing compared to the Med. The weather was so nice... I can't wait until it warms up here. Not that I should be complaining though, cause the weather has been pretty mild. Oh, we also went on an $8 Million yacht! It was absolutely gorgeous inside. Granite counters/floors, stainless steel kitchen, etc. You might ask, why were we on a yacht? Pure luck. It was the yacht of the President of Coca Cola Mexico. That was pretty sweet. So anyways...
Well, that's about all. This Sunday, February 26th, there is a Greek party at the Pacific Ballroom. We're "performing" there, if you could call that. Anyways, everyone's welcome; there will be supper, dancing, and no jeans! Take care and be there!
